The skies of Morocco and many countries of the world are witnessing a total lunar eclipse after sunset on Friday, July 27, to conclude the cases of the lunar eclipse for this year 2018 AD, and it will last in all its stages for 6 hours and 14 minutes, and it is considered the longest during the twenty-first century.

The scientific astronomical calculations of the association indicate that the total eclipse will begin in Morocco immediately after sunset, and we will not witness the beginning of the moon entering the semi-shadow cone of the Earth, as it will be noticed starting from the city of Fiquik, the first city in which the sun sets in Morocco at 19:59 local time, to reach the climax at 21: 21 will be visible in all Moroccan cities from Tangiers to Lagouira, and will end at 00:28 on Saturday, July 28th.

In contrast to the solar eclipse phenomenon, the eclipse can be observed with the naked eye, hand-held binoculars, and telescopes.
